Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller (Microsoft Corporation - XDDM) drivers for windows 7 32bit/ vista

Working Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller (Microsoft Corporation - XDDM)  drivers for windows 7 32bit

hey guys, i got a old Compaq desktop pc at home configuration are as fallows
Pentium 4 ,1Gb+256Mb of ram and yes the most important one a old series of chipset driver by Intel® 82865G Graphics and Memory Controller Hub (GMCH) on mother board without going into much details of other drivers i am focusing on the topic.

My PC was running fine with windows XP installed but the RAM was  only enough to run windows xp or lesser version of Microsoft windows, I upgraded the RAM and planned to install Windows 7 ultimate.
Finally i formatted my PC and installed Windows 7 ultimate 32bit version.
after that it was time to install drivers:
The problem started here. when i started installing the drivers the audio drivers just installed fine but graphic drivers were unable to installed always giving an error "os not supported".
I tried to play videos and games but was unable to play even the resolution was also poor, windows 7 was just  a waste without the drivers .I opened the device manager it only showed Standard Microsoft VGA Adapter and when tried of updating it notification displayed was that the drivers was already up to date.
Second, i visited the Intel download center for downloading the drivers and was really sad to know that  Intel has stopped providing the drivers of Intel(R) 82865G graphic for windows 7 or higher version.
I searched on Google for the drivers hoping that any 3rd-party is providing the supported driver of Intel(R) 82865G graphic for windows 7. After doing research on web and visiting many forums i finally got a solution.
Some were i read that Intel was previously providing Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller (Microsoft Corporation - XDDM) for Windows Vista and this driver could be possibly run on Windows 7 32bit version as there is almost no difference between Windows Vista drivers and Windows 7 drivers.

Here is the detail of driver:
Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller (Microsoft Corporation - XDDM)
Driver Provider: Intel Corporation
Driver Version: 6.14.10.4656
Driver Date: 08/01/2006

c:\windows\inf\ialmnt5.inf
C:\Windows\system32\drivers\ialmnt5.sys
C:\Windows\system32\ialmrnt5.dll

C:\Windows\system32\igxpxa32.vp
C:\Windows\system32\igxpxk32.vp
C:\Windows\system32\igxpxs32.vp

You can easily see the Driver Version as 6.14.10.4656 .
I read the  positive comments giving by the visitors who used the above drivers on windows 7 saying it is working fine.
But unfortunately the links to the download the drivers were removed from the forum and  now the only work that was left for me was to find the drivers and download.
After lots of Googling i finally found the drivers. I was able to successfully install the drivers and yeah it worked fine but the drivers were (not digital signed) but whatever I installed it ignoring the notification.

I guess you also might have gone through these problems. Let me make it easy for you :)

after extracting the rar file , look for ialmnt5.inf and by doing a right click on the ialmnt5.inf file install option will be show.click on install to install the drivers or second method is that going to device manager and select the driver files manually by browsing to the location where you have extracted the above files. thakyou

I'll admit, I've been running Windows 7 for six months now: Windows 7 is quite simply faster, more stable, boots faster, goes to sleep faster Even the preproduction version of Windows 7 was better than my Vista with SP2
