what is an ad impression?
A ad impression is the impression earned on a particular ad block when some one views , on your blog or site.Or according to Google definition we can say that ....
"An ad impression is reported whenever an individual ad is displayed on your website. Different ad formats will display varying numbers of ads; for example, each time a vertical banner appears on your site, you'll see two ad impressions in your reports. In addition, keep in mind that the number of ads in any ad unit may vary depending on whether the ad unit is displaying standard text ads, expanded text ads, or image ads."
How to increase adsense ad impressions?
As we all know that Google strictly recommends not to go against their TOS of adsense policy. So to be on safer side i will tell you how can you count every impression served on your blog because many times our Google Analytic show a different data than it is shown on our Adsense account.So why is my page impression less in adsense account than Analytic account or your blogger account?
here is an answer which i got from many bloggers , because i too was in nerves when adsense shows only few impression while my blogs were showing hundreds of them .. you might be thinking that where does this impression disappear.
The main things behind an impression is that it will only be counted only when a ads appear to a visitor , So many visitors might not be able to see adsense ads it may be due to the browser does not support java script or they might have installed ad blockers.
The best way to make count this views is by recommending people not to use ad-blockers when they visit your site or blog.
And asking them to update browser or to switch to latest one.
Moreover you can also take a poll on your homepage where, asking visitors if they can see ads or not by this you can actually calculate your stats and look forward to take more advance steps.
